July

We tried to keep busy in July ... since hotel life gets old.

We saw 2 movies, went bowling, played at the park, went to the library, and spent a lot of time checking out some historic sites in the immediate Fredericksburg area.

We were walking to get ice cream and we saw "Red" from Angry Birds just hanging out in a bush. It was pretty funny!

Carl's Ice Cream ... been in business for over 69 years. Simple menu of old fashioned soft serve ice cream
The mother of George Washington buried here...

The Kenmore house just down the road from there. This was the house that George Washington's sister lived in, she married into the Kenmore family, a prominent family of this area.

Battle of Fredericksburg:

There is so much history here; I don't think we will ever run out of things to do!

Happy 7-11 day - free Slurpee's!

Hanging out at the park while Brooke is at horse camp:

Loving her wallet Grama gave her!

She bought some lifesavers with her own money!

Some pictures from Brooke during her horse camp:

Downtown Fredericksburg had the street lined with French frags for Bastile day
Overnight visit from Jeff's mom and his sisters on their drive back from Orlando:

We love ice cream!

Dentist appointments!
Mail from a sweet new neighbor!
