Jeff had training Mon-Fri for 3 weeks. He was able to have his nights and weekends with us, which is why we tagged along on the trip with him. The first weekend we were there we took the kids to Myrtle Beach. We drove down when he got out of training on Friday and came back Sunday evening.
By the time we checked in to the hotel and grabbed dinner, the sun had already set - but we still took the kids to dip their toes in the water.

We spent the whole day having fun at the beach and even skipped lunch. For dinner, we headed to Broadway at the Beach and ate at Senor Frogs.
Jade fell in love with our waiter and said she wanted to marry him. Silly girl! He asked Jade if he could take a picture with her :-)

After dinner, we walked around a bit.
Day 2 was short but the kids were able to play for a bit before we had to check out of the hotel.
After we checked out, we walked on the pier and grabbed some souvenirs, the sand/seashell bottles they always get, and for us an ornament.

The weekend was a lot of fun - but the sunburn we ended up getting was not!!! Despite loading up multiple times throughout the day, some of us suffered from some major sunburn!
