Happy 7th Birthday, BROOKE!
I can't believe 7 years ago I became a mom for the first time! Wow, time flies! Brooke is such a smart girl and we know God has great things planned for her. She without a doubt keeps Jeff and I on our toes!! LOVE you TONS, Brookie!
We celebrated Brooke's birthday this year with an Art Party. Unfortunately, Avery was a little bit under the weather yesterday- so Jeff had to stay back with Jade and Avery. Today, Jeff is taking Brooke to do something fun just the two of them. While it is disappointing that Jeff couldn't come to the party, I think Brooke is excited to be spending some one on one time with Daddy!
Brooke said this was the best party ever and had a really good time! I thought the party was fantastic and it seemed like all the kids enjoyed themselves!
I laid out colored paper to act as place mats under the white paper plates. I also chose vintage blue mason jars as centerpieces and grabbed some flowers from the dollar store. It fit in perfectly with the colorful theme of the party!
Party favors were personalized aprons/smocks |
Brooke chose a dolphin for the painting. We tried to pick something gender neutral and thought the "Bubbles the Dolphin" was a good choice.
The party guests started to arrive and Brooke was getting really excited! I love it when she smiles!
I never thought Brooke was short- but compared to the kids in this picture, she looks tinier than most of them! |
I tried to get a picture of each kid, but it was hard navigating through the tables!
The instructor is starting! I've never seen a group of 20 kids behave so well!
Let the painting begin!
Brooke with one of her sweet friends, Ava. |
The instructor came around and painted mustaches on the boys, and princess crowns on some of the girls!
Brooke was pretty shy when it came to us all singing "Happy Birthday" |
The kids had sparkling juice or water to chose from, cake, and cookie cake too! We saved the candy for the end!
Here is everybody's masterpieces! I really wish the table could have been moved so I could get a nicer picture.
After the party we went home and had dinner and then Brooke opened up all her presents.
What thoughtful friends she has! They really knew what she liked- because she got a ton of horse stuff and art supplies. What a wonderful birthday Brooke had!!!
Happy Birthday Brooke!
