Day 2-4

Day 2- Driving to Murfreesboro, Tennessee/Visiting
Day 3- Visiting friends
Day 4- Driving to Buffalo, New York

I couldn't wait for this part of our trip- visiting our friends in Murfreesboro!! I was so excited to wake up and start driving. Before leaving Memphis, we drove by Graceland (even though we couldn't see anything since everything is behind gates and you need to buy tickets to get in).

The drive to Murfreesboro was only about 3 hours. That was a breeze for us! On our way in, we stopped at Jeff's old job so he could visit his old coworkers. Then we grabbed lunch at Salsaritas (why don't we have one of those in Texas?!).

We stayed at the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro, which was amazing. Delicious Breakfast, free happy hour (drinks and appetizers) and the room was so spacious and very clean! We took the kids to the pool and then grabbed some dinner before visiting our friend RC.

Brooke likes to take pictures with my big camera :-)

Visiting RC...

Time for bed... Brooke and Jade bumped heads- crazy girls.
And this... is what Brooke has been waiting for... visiting her friends in Tennessee!!! She could not wait to see her sweet friend, Connor- she misses him so much.

Connor, Brooke, and Lilly

See my big smile- my heart is happy to be in Tennessee!!

Just like old times... lunch and playdate at Connor's house
We drove by our old house... which made me cry. Well, I actually cried multiple times while we were in Tennessee. I miss that place like you wouldn't believe. Tennessee is my happy place.

Our shrubs got HUGE... they really need to be trimmed and maintained, kind of depressing to see them looking like that :(

I am feeling so joyful here... out to dinner with our neighbors... such a nice evening!

The old gang, minus Cara's husband, Nate. From Left to Right- Top- KC, Cara, me, Jeff, Avery. Bottom- Jade, Samantha, Jonathon, Brooke
Brooke always adored our neighbor, Jonathon. She was really happy to see him and wanted to sit next to him at dinner. She asked me if she could send him a letter when we got back home to Texas asking him to come visit us. Jeff and I helped her write that note today, and it's in the mail now.

Night, Night.
Rise and Shine- We left Tennessee at 4am to Shuffle off to Buffalo (Again, I cried leaving)
We failed to get a picture of the sign going into Kentucky :-(

Hello, Buffalo!
