Saturday night we got into our pajamas, grabbed our elves, got some hot cocoa and went to look at Christmas lights. We didn't see any extravagant Christmas lights because we didn't feel like driving 30 minutes to some of the big displays I've heard about.
We really wanted to drive through "The Christmas Journey," which is a fully dramatized production at a local church here in McKinney. You drive through biblical scenes, where there are live animals and people acting out the biblical accounts of Jesus Christ's life. We got in line to drive through, but the wait was well over an hour, and our kids just couldn't handle waiting... hopefully next year we will be able to do it, because it's supposed to be pretty awesome to see.
