Life has been crazy busy as usual. I struggle to find the time to blog much anymore. Here is how we spent the rest of our October...
Book Character dress up day at school! We had Rapunzel, Fern from Charlotte's Web, and Evie from the Descendants:
We made Halloween cupcakes one night:
We went to the Harvest Festival Fly-In which was at the local Fredericksburg airport. Many different vendors were set up and they flew the planes over a large field and dumped candy for all the kids to run out and grab. The girls really enjoyed it!
Waiting for the candy to be dumped:
Later that day we painted emoji pumpkins:
The next day we carved a simple pumpkin together:
Lots of pumpkin fun the whole month:
We had some gorgeous weather this month!
It's always fun checking out all the horses when Brook has horseback riding:
The girls had a school dance:
Avery had a theater performance:
We got "booed" by our neighbors across the street:
and we trick or treated.
This was one of the most fun years we've had trick or treating yet. In our neighborhood, with the houses being so far apart and the driveways so long, many people put together hay rides and take the kids around the neighborhood. Our neighbors across the street invited us to tag along with them. Most people set up a table at the end of their driveway and pass out candy. The kids just had to jump out of the hay ride at each stop. They had a ball!
October, as always, turned out to be such a fun month!
