We are one week into November and it's already been awesome!
Jade had a private at cheerleading:
Unfortunately, while we were there, Avery smacked her chin hard on the cement floor. You can see through these pictures that it is still healing and looks terrible.
After Jade's private we went to Texas Roadhouse because the girls school was having Spirit Night there....
The school principal served us rolls and drinks, the girls ran into friends, and Brooke and Avery both saw their teachers passing out rolls too.
On Saturday, while Jade was at cheer, we ran to the library to grab a history book for an upcoming book report Brooke needs to do. There just so happened to be an Indian Village set up outside the library. We checked it out and it was actually really neat.
Brooke had a fantastic Friday at school. She was the second place winner in the Fire Safety Drawing Contest, where she received a trophy.
Children's Author, Laura Murray, also visited our school on Friday. The third graders had to write a cartoon storyboard and the author chose one student as the winner -- and Brooke was the lucky winner! Brooke's storyboard was titled "The gingerbread man loose at the beach."
We walked around our backyard this weekend and we sure do love it. It makes my heart so happy that the girls can actually experience a true fall.
Miss Jade has an obsession for Donald Trump:
Her Christmas wish list: gift ems, trolls, blush, lipstick, shopkins, a big troll, 4 American girl dolls, 6 notebooks, 1 piece of candy, and a vote for Donald Trump. I'm dying! |
No school on election day, so the girls went with me to vote!
