Wrapping up March

Haven't had a chance to blog in awhile .... here is what we were up to the rest of March.

We bought Bean Boozled and had a lot of fun playing this game together!! If you haven't heard of it you should check it out. You spin the spinner and it tells you what color Jelly Bean to eat. However, the Jelly Bean either tastes good or bad. For example, the black jelly bean is either black licorice or skunk. The peach colored jelly bean is either peach or barf, etc. Poor Avery always picked one that tasted bad, but she was such a good sport. It was pretty fun and we laughed a lot, and spit out many partially chewed jelly beans!

 Coloring Easter Eggs:

Good Friday we watched our church service online and we had "wine" and bread. We did the same thing last year, and the kids looked forward to it this year.

Easter baskets are hidden along with 60 eggs filled with money/coins scattered around the house:

Brooke got her "big girl" early readers bible her Kindergarten year and Jade was excited to get hers this year too!

Easter Sunday

We had a nice dinner at Salt Grass, courtesy of my parents. The girls also received gift cards to Toys R Us, so we stopped there so they could pick something out.

Avery picked out Spy Barbies and Brooke and Jade wanted Shopkins

Don't let Jeff fool you ... secretly, he wishes he would have been a cheerleader!

We took the kids to Erwin Park and had egg races - Brooke won every time!

Jeff was messing around outside with the sprinklers and the next thing I know this happened. He is yelling at me to go turn the sprinklers off and here I am too busy taking a picture of it all going down.
