Life lately

Here is what we've been up to lately..

Last week Avery was spoiled. We had a day at the mall together ... which always consists of Carousel rides, lunch, shopping, and a cookie!

Avery also had her first haircut:

I should have taken her months ago. She has such fine hair and desperately wants to have long hair. In order to get her hair to grow, I knew we had to cut it and get the ends cleaned up. She loved the girly salon I took her to. She got sparkles in her hair and glitter tattoos on her face and picked out a lollipop, necklace, and a mirror.

Jeff and I had an afternoon together last week since he put in a lot of hours over the previous weekend. We grabbed breakfast at our favorite place in downtown McKinney, walked around and then grabbed an afternoon drink at another place.

 Last Saturday, Dave and Natalie came to visit us. Dave opened up a Tae Kwon Do place in Austin, TX almost about a year and a half ago. This was the first time we've been able to get together with his whole family.

Brooke, Jade, and their son, Cameron:

 Dinner @ Hutchins! They stayed with us on Saturday night and went to church with us on Sunday. We took them to Snug after church and they headed back home later that afternoon. It was a quick visit, but really nice to spend some time with them.
