School's Out!!

School's out for summer!!

Thursday was Brooke's last day of school and we went to have a picnic lunch with her outside during her lunch period. Student's got hot dogs, chips, and sno cones.

After lunch, Brooke went back to class and then I took Jade and Avery for sno-cones, since they didn't have any at Brooke's school but really wanted one too.

 On Friday we met a friend at the mall. We grabbed lunch at the food court, rode the carousel, played at the play place, and then checked out the Lego displays from the The LEGO® Americana Roadshow! The Lego displays replicated some of the nation's most well known landmarks. Brooke really enjoyed it!!

We got home from the mall and Brooke spiked a fever. I took her into the clinic this morning and sure enough she has strep throat.

Meanwhile, Jade and Avery have been playing with this pretend makeup set I ordered for them. It's literally "Just Like Mommy's." Avery is always wanting my makeup, and this looks like mine but doesn't transfer on the skin.

 

Super fun!

Hopefully the strep doesn't spread through the house and we can kick off the summer!
