Day 5: Magic Kingdom

Monday morning we slept in and relaxed. Epcot took its toll on us and we didn't want to rush out the door first thing in the morning. Aunt Dona came over around 10 and took me to the outlet mall with her, while Jeff stayed back with the kids. It was a nice break for me! After we shopped for a bit and she brought me back to the resort, Aunt Dona said her goodbyes and headed back home. We are so happy we were able to spend some time with her! Then, we grabbed some lunch at Moes and then headed to Magic Kingdom!

Our first time seeing the castle together!
Our first ride of the day was the Tea Cups! I couldn't wait to go on this ride with the kids!!

A picture during the ride :-)

They had so much fun!!!
A quick stroll by Gaston's Tavern and Belle's Village:

Next Ride was Journey of the Little Mermaid:

It's a small world:
The kids LOVED this ride... how can you not? The bright colors and fun music are so fun!

Then it was time to ride Dumbo.. Brooke had been excited about this for awhile!

Winnie the Pooh Ride:

After you get off each ride, you have to walk through a gift shop mostly catered to that ride- well played, Disney. We were able to hold off on souvenirs for awhile, but this time we got held up. Avery walked away with a set of Disney Junior figures, Brooke got a Roo stuffed animal, and Jade an Eeyore.
 Enchanted Tales with Belle:

Regal Carrousel:

Castle at night

Our last attraction for the day was Mickey's PhilharMagic. This was a 3D show that had only a 5 minute wait time, so we figured we would give it a try on our way out. This ended up being one of the kids favorite things. They LOVED it! Avery was even reaching out trying to grab the 3D objects "flying" at her.

This was our BEST day of the vacation by far. We rented a stroller this day, because we learned from our experience with Epcot, that we really did need it. The kids had a lot of fun at Magic Kingdom and we fit a lot in, all with minimal wait times due to the NEW Fast Pass plus system that they are implementing, which is different than the previous version of Fast Pass. You have to be staying at a WDW resort to take advantage of the new system, since its currently in the trial stage, but somehow I managed to "hack" the system, lol, and I was able to use it too! We were able to make reservations for 3 rides a day, and basically walk right on those rides with no wait time!
