Playing Catch Up....

Haven't updated in awhile...

here are some random pictures from the last couple weeks

Jade and Avery sporting their Princess Sophia crowns

Someone I went to high school with tagged me on Facebook... this is hanging on the wall at my elementary school, it was something I did in art class back in 1996- crazy! Definitely was fun to see!

Jade on her second day of school

Brooke was picked to be "Queen of the day" at school on Monday. She had to fill this out and was able to bring in some small toys to show the class as well as some pictures of her family. She was really excited about this!

Sweet girl... she is always so excited to tell me about her day at school!

The cashier at Target let Jade scan some groceries... very blurry picture, but you get the point

Jade after a fun day at school

Jade's teacher gives us updates daily on how she did at school that day. This note cracks me up.

Woohoo! I was the first person in the carpool line! I get to school early on Tuesdays and Thursdays because I get Jade at 2, and we are only 10 minutes away from Brooke's school. My poor kids practically live in the van during the week.
On Wednesday, I brought out the kids Halloween Bags... inside each one was their Halloween Snoopys (which I pack away each year after Halloween), and I also tucked in a Halloween shirt for each of them. Grandma and Grandpa got them Halloween Snoopys last year or maybe the year before and they loved them so much they got Christmas one's too last year. I had to run out to Hallmark to make sure I had one for Avery this year too. They like watching all of the Charlie Brown Holiday shows and look forward to their Snoopy! Such fun little traditions :-)

They loved the glow in the dark skeleton shirts!

Avery... practicing her center splits:

Brooke on 'Patriot Day' at school (9/11)

Saw this on Facebook today, so crazy- this was Moody Gardens (where we went last month), 5 years ago when Ike struck

This was a sign I saw while driving last Saturday. Here in Texas, they have some things right :-)
I really need to try to make updates more frequently... but back to school has got us so so busy!
