Happy Birthday, Avery!

 

Avery's 2nd Birthday was Sunday, but we celebrated her special day with friends on Saturday! The weather was perfect- I think we finally got a break from the heat! We went with an ice cream themed birthday party this year, and it was so much fun!

I set up most of the decorations Friday night. So when the kids woke up they were excited to see everything. We opted for a picnic breakfast on the floor.

 

 

After breakfast I got the kids dressed and attempted to take a few pictures of Avery, but she wasn't too interested in being a model for me.

 

The poor kid has a bruised eye from during the week, and her chin is glued from Thursday nights fall.

We kept things low key- we brought out all of our outside toys, and just let the kids play.

Gone the next... literally, we started singing and she melted to the floor and hid under the table

 ...It's my party and I'll cry if I want to....

All the kids enjoyed making their sundaes, and I'm sure their parents loved me even more for loading them all up with sugar :-)

Later that night, once we cleaned up from the party, Avery opened her presents!
