We had a jam packed weekend, and as usual had a lot of FUN!! On Saturday, Jeff's company had a BBQ at one of their workers house. For the kiddos, we brought our bounce house, and they had a kiddie pool there. For the adults, there was a cornhole tournament (Jeff and I were on separate teams, and both did equally as bad... but at least I was told I was better at it than Jeff!). We were also each to bring a dessert for a bake off... and I am proud to say that I was the bake off WINNER! I made Dulce de Leche mini cheesecakes and they turned out great. However, I think I won because the judge was a sucker for cheesecake, and I was the only one who brought a cheesecake dessert =) Either way I won!!
Sunday started off not so great as we were given some emotional news at church. Our pastor, whom Jeff has become good friends with, and we truly love, has stepped down. We are not sure what God's plans are for him or our church right now, but we are trusting God during this time.
Last Sunday we headed out to Smithville to ride on my friends pantoon boat. When we got there, not only did it pour, we had a severe thunderstorm. We thought it would pass, but it didn't...and poor Brooke was devastated. Luckily, Sunday morning my friend texted me and we decided to give it another try!!
Below is a picture of Raleigh and Jade. Raleigh is Brooke's friend from dance class. Her mom, Ashley and I have become good friends. She is due next week with another GIRL! That makes FOUR of my friends, plus me that are all having girls =)

We stayed on the boat for about 4 hours, and the kids did great, they had so much fun. We cooked hot dogs on the boat and ate snacks. The weather was gorgeous and the water was beautiful (or so I heard, I didn't actually go in).
