Brooke's First Horse Show

On Sunday, Brooke had her first Horse Show. She competed in 3 classes:

Walk/Trot Western Pleasure 12 & Under

Youth Mare Halter

Youth Showmanship 12 & Under

 

 

This show happened to be just 10 minutes from our house. It was a LONG day. We were there for the majority of the afternoon. While Brooke warmed up and got ready with her riding coach, I took Jade and Avery for a walk around the beautiful event center and park.

 

It actually felt and looked like fall in Texas!

And while we waited and waited for Brooke's classes... we played tag and climbed trees.

Overall, it was a fun day. It was such a new experience for all of us. Brooke really enjoyed herself and we are learning as we go. We are going to participate in another show next weekend!
