Jeff has been working night and overnight shifts lately, which hasn't left us much family time ;-( I've been trying to keep the kiddos busy! We spend a lot of time at the splash pad. There are a lot in the area but we really like the one that is part of a nearby shopping center. They have a beach area, which Brooke LOVES. So we usually start in the sand and then head over to rinse off and cool down.
Impossible to get Avery to look at the camera....
After the splash pad- Mommy treated the girls to a slushy from Sonic!
Playground fun...

| A boo boo for Avery :-( |
After the playground we relaxed inside and I drew caterpillars for the girls to color...
 |
| Jeff's homemade steak pizza- yum! |
 |
| Don't mind the hair- it was crazy hair day at VBS... but when I was at the Dollar Tree I found a Horse sticker book for Brooke! |
 |
| She enjoyed putting the stickers inside... We are going to have to pick up some more packs of stickers and try to fill the whole book up! |
 |
| After gymnastics one day- I took the girls to Chick-fil-a for dinner. They love to climb up the play place after they eat. |

Friday we went for a walk at Adriatica in McKinney
 |
| The back of our dream house ;-) lol |
 |
| After our walk we drove over to the splash pad. We ended up grabbing dinner on the patio at the restaurant next to the splash pad. The kids ran back and forth between our table and the water and had tons of fun! |
Saturday we spent the whole day relaxing at home. Brooke and Jade worked on some Perler beads again. Brooke's is the dog, Jade's is the dolphin.

| Brooke received a letter in the mailbox from her little friend Ethan |
On Sunday night we had a 4th of July mini session. Here are a few pictures the photographer shared with me...
Avery has struggled for awhile now with being separated from me. She just won't go into a room at church or anything, and I'm beginning to wonder if she will be able to go to preschool this year or not. We have finally found a church that we really like here in McKinney so I decided that I would start volunteering in Avery's class. So on Sunday mornings you'll find me hanging out in the 2 year old class. Avery has so much fun at church and enjoys singing worship songs and listening to the Bible stories. Here is a video of Avery practicing her Memory Verse:
