Catching up

Lately I haven't been updating the blog as frequently... we've just been so busy around here. Here are a few pictures from the past week or so.

Jade loves bringing things home from school and showing me. Usually she is excited about what she picked out of the treasure box, but last week she was excited over this June Bug. She found him on the playground and thought he was so cute. She wanted to put it in her room (which was not happening-  I did agree to let her keep it in the garage). She insisted he was sleeping although he was really dead.

 Last Saturday we went to a friends house for a little cook out/get together....

Brooke's teachers birthday was Friday. Me and the other room mom decorated her door on Thursday evening...

and I made this canvas that all of the kids signed and presented to her (Her teacher is a huge Mickey Mouse/Disney fan). 

We had a busy weekend with 2 birthday parties to attend.

 And it wouldn't be a good weekend if we didn't spend some time outside with our neighbors!

After church on Sunday we went to a park that had bike/hike trails. The girls LOVED hiking through the trail and didn't complain or whine once! 

I kept hearing some noises from upstairs Sunday night.... and Jade who is usually a great sleeper... was up to no good! I walked in and she had turned her lamp on and was playing with her Elsa doll, and trying to put Elsa's shoes on her own feet- so funny. I tucked her back in and ten minutes later she was sitting next to her night light next to her piggy bank sorting her change- silly girl!
