Jeff has never been the flashy type... even with all his amazing accomplishments, he is never boastful or proud- he is very low key. Even when he receives praises from others, he downplays it. But hey, I'm a proud wife- and even though he doesn't need or want to be thanked on Veteran's day, I just want him to know that we love him and are so very proud of him!!
Today at Brooke's school, they had a small Veteran's day parade. Jeff walked with Brooke in the parade, while me, Jade and Avery waved a flag in the crowd. It was a lot of fun. Here is a video from the ceremony that the school put together- if you look closely you may be able to find Jeff and Brooke!

Back in Tennessee, Brooke's friend Connor honored Jeff today at his school- so very sweet! I miss those dear friends of ours!
