Buffalo Visit

The next morning we had lunch at Jeff's Grandmothers house. Unfortunately, this picture turned out blurry:

While we were there, Avery lost her first tooth!

After spending some time at Jeff's Grandmothers we headed to visit my extended side of the family. I'm so grateful that my cousin was able to reserve her church's hospitality room. It made getting together with everyone so much easier!

Later that evening, my parents put the girls to bed for us, so Jeff and I could meet up with a few of his friends.

The next day we saw Eddie and Jen, followed by Jeff's Dad's side of the family.

Second Cousins:

Side note: Apparently snap chat filters were a thing on this trip?! Also, Avery insisted on wearing her American Girl Tenney Outfit every day while we were there!

The next day we let the kids play in the snow a bit before heading back to Virginia.

We passed by the Buffalo Bill's stadium on our way ... so we made a quick pit stop:

Our trip home to Buffalo was short but we were so happy we got to see as many people as we did!

Skating at Rockefeller and Shuffling off to Buffalo

Skating at Rockefeller Center!

We had a first skate package booked at Rockefeller Center on this day and it started at 7am!

As you can tell from the picture below, it was still dark when we arrived:

We got our skates on and hit the ice:

We took a lot of little breaks because it was so cold. Luckily, coffee and hot chocolate were included in the package!

The skate package lasted one hour. So by 8am we were finished and we headed back to the hotel to grab breakfast. We packed up our bags, checked out of the hotel, and shuffled off to Buffalo....

Avery became a pro at blowing bubbles on the ride:

and no sooner did we arrive in Buffalo did the snow start falling:

We grabbed a pizza from Metro and our first visit of the trip was to Jeff's mom's new house:
