We wrapped up May with dance pictures for Avery, Jeff returning from two weeks away, and Jeff's mom visiting us.
On Sunday, after church we went to Six Flags over Texas. Boy was it HOT!! We had a lot of fun though.
On Memorial Day, we slept in!! Everyone was exhausted from Six Flags the day before. That afternoon we headed to downtown Dallas to visit Klyde Warren Park and see the Sixth Floor Museum.
Klyde Warren Park is a fun park located over the freeway connecting various parts of downtown. It is a highly active space, providing daily free programming for the public ranging from yoga to lecture series to outdoor concerts and films. There is a play area, splash area, reading areas, green space, and food trucks line the street daily.

We got some yummy food from various food trucks and then went to the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza.
I took this picture from the top floor (7th floor) just above the 6th floor window of where Lee Harvey Oswald was said to be when he shot JFK. The x in the road is where JFK was when he was killed. You were not allowed to take pictures on the 6th floor.
If you look closely you can see the window from where Oswald shot JFK. It is the window that is open- It's the far right window, 2nd floor from the top.
