Last weekend we grabbed dinner with Jeff's mom in Downtown McKinney. We LOVE being down there!
We stopped at the visitor center because Robin wanted to look for sweatshirts for Kali and Selena. The woman who worked there gave Jade and Avery masks :-) |
We stopped at the Loco Cowpoke where they have tons of different salsas you can try.
Avery being crazy at dinner! |
After dinner, we grabbed Brooke from art class, and then we all got ice cream to celebrate Jade's birthday!
On Saturday morning was Jade's party (which I already blogged about) and that afternoon, Jeff and I got a chance to grab a late lunch together. We had lunch (downtown McKinney) and then did a wine tasting at Lone Star Wine Cellars. Jeff gets mad when I take his picture :-)
Sunday we went to church and then to the mall for lunch and to ride the carousel.
Brooke and Jade decided to hold hands for a bit :-) These sweet moments are few and far between but it sure makes my heart happy when I see it!!! |
Sunday night Robin and I went to a different place in McKinney and did a wine tasting together. I enjoy spending time with her :-)
On Monday, schools were closed because of the weather, but Jeff had to work. We made some cookies and sang Happy Birthday to Jade since that was her actual birthday! Despite the airport being shut down in the morning and a lot of flights being cancelled, Robin's flight was still scheduled to leave. We took her to the airport that evening, and Jade cried when she left. She is the emotional one of the three, but it was sweet to see.
Schools were closed again on Tuesday but resumed Weds. The roads were icy but it wasn't anything us Northerners aren't used to!
