Fun Run 2014

Brooke's 2nd Fun Run was last Thursday. The school has been doing the Fun Run as their fundraiser for the past 3 years, and this is the only thing we have to do throughout the year in terms of fundraising. The school raised over $42,000 this year!! 

Friday and Saturday this past week

Friday, Jade and Avery were really excited to pick up Grandma and Grandpa from the airport!!

In the morning I gave them manicures since we had some extra time before we had to go to the airport.

 We had a relaxing night on Friday... 

On Saturday we went to the zoo...

We fed the giraffes while we were there! It was fun to see them super close!

We had fun at the zoo, but it was hot, and the kids were fading fast. We grabbed some dinner on the way home and called it a day! Mom and me were up late that night decorating for the party the next day.

The past two weeks

With school back in full swing, we've been busy, busy, busy. The days fly by as we are running from one activity to the next, doing homework, and trying to cram food down our throats so we can get to bed at a reasonable time. 

Most Wednesdays, Brooke has horseback riding lessons after school. On these days, we come home filthy from the ranch... we get baths right away and then we eat dinner.

Wear your favorite college team day at school. Ethan and Brooke both were sporting Texas teams.

We have one more week left in September... I'm looking forward to October- some cooler weather, more football, pumpkin patches, and more!
