It's officially summer!

Summer has officially arrived! School is out- the weather is getting HOT HOT HOT - and we had a fun visit with my Mom for a week!!

Thursday was Brooke's last day of Kindergarten. They had a hot dog roast outside for lunch and Bahama Bucks (kind of like sno cones) after!

 On Sunday after church we went to a Texas Rangers Baseball game! So fun- and so hot!

We ate like pigs! Hot dogs.. peanuts... popcorn.. nachos...ice cream.. What fun is going to the ballpark without stuffing your face?!

Before bed, Avery brushed her hair and tried on her jewelry.. she is such a girly girl, yet a rough one at that same time.

On Tuesday Mom and I took the girls to the movies- they have $1 shows in the summer and this was the line! Luckily, it moved quickly!

Mom left yesterday afternoon- we had such a fun week! Brooke was super sad when Grama left, she cried and cried in the van and said she didn't want Grama to go. All week long she also asked why Grampa didn't come too. 

After dinner Jeff and I took the girls to the splash pad.
