Sick!

Well, the girls are sick! Jeff went out of town on Monday and wasn't feeling so hot. We noticed over the weekend that Avery wasn't herself either. After I took Jade to preschool on Tuesday, I took Avery to the pediatrician, and she had an ear infection like we suspected. No sooner did I leave the pediatrician, did Jade's teacher text me and tell me Jade asked to lay down, and had fallen asleep. I picked her up right away, and she had a slight fever and was blah all day. She woke up the next morning with green goop in her eye. I called the pediatrician to get her in, but he wasn't in that day and I didn't want to see a different doctor at the practice since the kids much prefer our current pediatrician. I scheduled her for the next day, Thursday. Luckily, I did- because in the middle of the night, Brooke was throwing up and had a fever. I dragged all 3 kiddos to the doc in the morning. Brooke has a stomach bug, Jade has pink eye, and Avery is still recovering from her ear infection. All 3 kids have runny noses, fevers and are miserable! Boo Hoo! Not a fun way to start the New Year! Oh, and we are out of tissues- mind you, we just bought 8 boxes last week!

Please excuse the mismatched pajamas, as these two constantly like to pull clothes all day long and keep changing into the weirdest combinations :-)
