Old Chicago

Jeff and I have been wanting to go to the new chain that opened up down the road, Old Chicago. We went Friday night with our neighbors across the street. Below, is Samantha & Jonathon who are getting married in October, and the couple below us is Frenchetta & Aaron. In all,including Brooke and Jade, there were 12 of us...we had a nice time, and enjoyed the restaurant.

Baby Bunnies

I am NOT one for gardening or taking care of the outside of the house... so it would figure, while Jeff has been gone all week (in Atlanta)...I would have to deal with a HUGE ant problem in front of the house, the flag falling down outside, and watering the plants (which I think some are dying)...but anyhow, I go to get the hose... and I almost fainted, cause I thought there was a mouse next to the house... I looked closer, and it was a baby bunny!!! This was on Tues...on Wed afternoon I walked into the garage, and the baby bunny was in the garage!!!! Well I went outside and the other one was still there... so now there are 2 babies... I investigated further, to find a whole nest of little ones!! I had the neighbor across the street help me get the bunny in the garage back to his nest, since he scooted behind our storage chest, and I couldn't get him.

Bakers Rack & Light Fixture

SOOOOOO excited, my bakers rack FINALLY came in!!! I can't wait to fill it up and finish off the breakfast nook!

We (well, Jeff), also installed a new light fixture for the breakfast nook (thanks to Stacey, she got me a gift card to Lowe's for my birthday, so of course I put Jeff to work with it!!). Thanks again Stacey!

The downstairs is coming together little by little...and the kitchen is by far my favorite room!

Just a few picks of Miss Jade... holding her head up, she is extremely strong... she can officially now roll over too!!
