Avery's Arabians Night Birthday Party

Avery requested a "Genie" themed birthday party this year. This party was so much fun to plan! I used hot pink, purple, and gold as the color palette. We had low tables with pillows all around it for each of the party guests to sit at. We played fun music and had some lighting affects in the room as well. A camel gave all the kids (and parents!) rides and we finished the party off with breaking open the piñata!

The tiered pillow cake turned out awesome!

There were Henna tattoos at the tattoo station:

And each girl received a hip scarf, arm bands, and a headband:

Guests also went home with a genie lamp and magic wish bracelet:

Let the party begin!

The camel has arrived!

All the girls got dressed and then they made their way down to where the camel was.

The camel's name was Samson and boy was he cute!

We spent about an hour doing camel rides and then headed to the party room for pizza and cake. After cake, we went back outside for the piñata. We passed out favors and then everyone rode the camel some more!

We had the best time celebrating Avery's 6th Birthday!

Busy Friday!

Last Friday was BUSY!

Avery woke up to Balloons all over her room...

Here is the Birthday Girl!

We headed to school for Goodies with Grandparents. It was so nice that my parents were able to attend this event this year. The school served donuts, muffins, bread, coffee and juice.

Silly faces:

After Goodies with Grandparents was over the girls went to class. My parents and I headed to Krispy Kreme to pick up donuts for Avery to pass out to her class during her lunch period. We dropped my Dad off at home so he could  put together one of Avery's birthday presents from Jeff and I. Mom and I went back up to the school.

Avery passed out donuts to her class and this little boys reaction was the best:

Avery with some of her friends:

We ran into Brooke right before we left:

My Dad had the Barbie Dream House put together when we got back and Avery found it when she got home from school!

That night, Avery had a friend's birthday party to attend and Brooke and Jade went out to dinner with my parents.

It was a very busy but fun day!
