Father Daughter Dance

Saturday night was the Father Daughter Dance. We didn't think Jeff was going to be able to go since he was out of the country. He unfortunately missed both of the girls birthdays and parties, and he felt so bad about having to miss the dance too. Luckily, he landed home Saturday morning, just hours before the dance!

Brooke's 9th Birthday

Brooke is NINE. I can't believe next year she will be double digits!!

Brooke woke up and opened her presents from Jeff and I and also the presents from Grandma and Grandpa. She loved all of her gifts so much!

Brooke passed out donuts to her class at school and after school she had horseback riding lessons. At lessons, she jumped with her horse for the first time and boy was she THRILLED! Jade, Avery, and I also sang to her at the barn with some donuts and a candle (the pictures are on my phone - I have to upload those still).

Friday night = party time!

On Friday night, Brooke had her first sleepover! She invited 5 friends over for an emoji themed sleepover birthday party. She had tons of fun. I sure was exhausted but all her girlfriends had fun and were super well behaved.

Party favors consisted of Emoji pajamas and slippers:

Brooke's friend Caroline was the first to arrive

After prsents all the girls put on their matching pajamas:

They girls had free reign in the basement - they played games... watched movies... and ate a bunch of junk food! They finally dozed off around midnight. Our first sleepover was a success!!
