Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo

The annual Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo is going on right now. It lasts a few weeks and on Tuesday Brooke had a horse competition. Ms. Bayley told us this is like the Super Bowl of horse shows, so it was a pretty big deal!

We got home Sunday evening from Fort Worth from Jade's cheer competition. The girls went to school for most of the day on Monday. We picked them up towards the end of the school day and headed back up to Fort Worth for Brooke's show. Brooke had a chance to see the arena and practice a bit with her riding coach that night.

While Brooke was practicing, we took Jade and Avery to the midway to go on a ride and we walked around the "shopping" area.

The next morning, I had to get Brooke up at 5:45am to get her ready so she could be there by 6:30am. The show started at 8.

We were rooting for #21!

A first place ribbon!!

Brooke finished the day with two 1st place ribbons, a second place and a fourth place.
We are so proud of all she has accomplished!!

I wish I had some better quality pictures of everything, but it was kind of dark inside and it was super cold that day, I could barely get Brooke to step outside for a bit because she was freezing.

Fort Worth Water Gardens

The Fort Worth Water Gardens are directly next to the convention center. So on Sunday morning before the competition started we took a stroll over to check it out.
