Thursday was the last day of preschool for Jade and Avery. 

They had a fun filled super hero themed day!

Saturday was the only day we were able to spend with Jeff, since he got home late Friday night and had to leave again on Sunday morning. We filled up our day doing lots of fun things with the girls. We went to Chuck E. Cheese, Kid Mania, had dinner at Cheesecake Factory, and the girls picked out some new toys at Toys R Us with the gift cards they received from Grama and Grampa for the end of the school year!

 The Barrel of Monkeys game (below) was the one game that we finally discovered you have the potential to win a lot of tickets. I saw a little Chinese boy playing the game and he was really good, he was playing the game for his little sister. You had to link the ten monkeys and he got to 9 and lost. I asked him if he could play the game for Jade. I put the token in and he did, and he won! 150 tickets!!! 

Brooke saw that Jade got all those tickets and wanted a chance too! She played the game about 10 times in a row and kept getting 9 monkeys linked. She was getting so frustrated but was very determined. And then, finally- SHE DID IT! Here she is waiting for her 150 tickets!!

While we were eating dinner I got a text from Mom that her and Dad were at Cheesecake Factory. I took a picture of our napkin and texted her back, how ironic!

Then we went to Kid Mania so the kids could run around and climb in the tubes

Rain, Rain... go away!

Jeff drove home last Friday night from training so he could spend the day with us on Saturday for my Birthday. We enjoyed dinner at Mellow Mushroom that night before he had to leave again on Sunday. 

After dinner we walked around McKinney for a little while, which is one of our favorite things to do.

On Tuesdays, me and the girls have been eating dinner at Chik-fil-a before we head to church for the evening. I don't have to rush around and make dinner, and the kids get to play and enjoy a treat after they eat, win-win!

 

When life gives you rain... learn to jump in puddles!! It has literally been raining and storming here in Texas for 8 weeks now. I'm over the rain and would love some sunshine. However, these two kiddos would jump in a puddle any day! 

 

And this is Jade and Avery's reaction when the thunder rolled in!

While we were jumping in puddles, Brooke was at school getting soaked during field day. The rain held off in the morning for her, but they had a whole bunch of water activities, and she said she had a blast!

Jade's Preschool Graduation

Yesterday, Jade graduated from Preschool. Kindergarten here we come!! I am excited her because I know she will really enjoy Kindergarten.

I've been pretty much doing the exact same thing every single day for almost seven years, and yet my life is so much different than it was seven years ago. All of a sudden, these little people that I've been taking care of all day, every day are big and in school.  My kiddos are growing up and it excites me and terrifies me at the same time.

Here is Jade before we left for school:

She is always so willing to take a picture for me. We picked out the "coco" skirt from my boutique, and it was the perfect choice for graduation day! We got many compliments on her outfit!!

 Jade was the first one who walked out and she was all smiles,
 I think she was so proud of herself!

Once all of the children were on stage, they sang songs for us and recited a few bible verses. They all did so well!

Jade became a pirate :-)

Mrs. Sandy is our absolute favorite! She was the very best teacher for both Brooke and Jade.
