I can't believe Jade is 4 already! Time is really starting to fly... and life is so busy and hectic that I sometimes don't even realize it until we hit big milestones like these. Jade insisted on having a Rapunzel party for months now. We did the princess party before so I asked her over and over if she was sure that's what she wanted, and she was positive. So here is our "Tangled" party....

Jade had an awesome birthday party! She had so much fun and genuinely enjoyed herself :-)
The next morning she woke up and it was her actual birthday. She made sure to tell us and our neighbors that today was "actually her birthday and that she was 4 now". She opened her presents from us and then we sang to her and she blew out candles in a Chocolate Chip muffin.
I purchased Chinese lanterns to light and send off into the sky for the night of Jade's birthday, since it went along with the movie (which if you have never seen Rapunzel, I promise you, even if you are an adult- you will like it!). Well, Jeff told me over and over that it was too windy to do and we would have to wait until there was a night with less wind. I kind of had a temper tantrum and insisted that we try anyways.
Needless to say, Jeff was RIGHT- and I was WRONG. I have no problem admitting that, but I am glad he appeased me and tried anyways. The lantern crashed immediately into the ground. We still have some left and we will do it another night with the kiddos.
