Brooke's First Hair Cut

Today we took Brooke for her first ever haircut (Just a trim!). I really wanted to take her to Divas & Dudes in Franklin, because I've heard such great things about it. I'm so glad we did go there, because it was really awesome and Brooke just loved it!

And let the haircut begin... We got the "First Mini Diva" package which included the haircut, lock of hair, certificate with photo, and a baby tiara

Haircut is finished, time for a little blowdrying...

And then they sprayed sparkles in her hair, and put a little sparkly stamp on her right cheek and gave her the baby tiara...

And a lollipop (yummy!) ...

Brooke found a little mirror and was checking herself out...

After, I let Brooke get a "manicure" (which she REALLY loved!!)...

What a FUN day!!

Another Fall Activity

Tomorrow we were planning on taking the kids to a little fall 'carnival' that one of the parks in town here has each year. Turns out Jeff has a chance to go to the Vanderbilt Football game instead, so I decided to take the kids this evening instead while he was still at work.

They had a bunch of different games set up for the kids to play. Her favorite one was 'Duck Pond,' and while I thought she would like the game where she had to kick a ball, she was terrifed of the man running the game!! (He wasn't even in a costume, she cracks me up!) Here Brooke is counting the tickets she won so she can get her prize!

Carving Pumpkins

Last night we carved pumpkins. Below, Brooke is patiently waiting for Daddy to get home, as the pumpkins are all set up to be carved!!

Brooke's trip to the dentist

Brooke had a great trip to the dentist yesterday! Her last appointment, back in March was the most awful thing ever, she screamed the whole time and Jeff and I had to hold her down, so I was nervous this time around. I had prepared Brooke for over 2 weeks and told her she would be going and we practiced having her lay down and I showed her what the dentist would do. She was really excited to go, but once they called her back and we started to walk through the doors, she got a little apprehensive and started to whine. Luckily, I got her back there and she ended up doing great, she even let me take a picture!

Lucky Ladds Farm

October is here, and fall has definitely began here in Tennessee! Oh, how I love this time of year!!! Today, we took Brooke & Jade to Lucky Ladds Farm. It was incredible, one of the best farms/pumpkin patches I have ever been to. They had so much to do for Brooke, and she really had such a great time!
