Beautiful Day!!

Such a beautiful, warm, sunny day today... I actually had TWO cooperative children, and was able to get all my house chores done, get ready, and get out the door for a nice walk. Suprisingly, Brooke held my hand and walked next to the stroller (she is NOT always that cooperative)

Chuck E. Cheese

Jeff and I took Brooke to Chuck E. Cheese on Saturday (compliments of John Lucas, good friend from growing up)... of course she had a lot of fun, but really gave us a workout, and gave us a hard time when we had to leave!

Busy Week

It's been such a busy week here... Jeff is at his second interview for the week, and he also has one tomorrow. Yesterday Jeff went to the small group that we are joining at World Outreach Church. I chose to stay back, since Brooke had shots yesterday and I wanted to get her to bed early. Jeff really had a nice time though, and felt really comfortable with everyone in the group. Sunday we are FINALLY going to church together, and I can't wait. What's really exciting is I found out that this week Dr. Kevin Leman is a guest speaker (and I've read a few of his books, and really have an interest in the topics he talks abouts). It really feels great to have Jeff home and embark on this new chapter of our lives...thank you everyone for all your support over the past couple years...we miss and love you all!

Happy 2nd Birthday Brooke!!

Time sure does fly... it's hard to believe that Brooke is 2 years old already. We celebrated her birthday on Saturday since my mom was still in town. Her new favorite show is Mickey Mouse, so we went with a Minnie Mouse theme, and Brooke was thrilled!
