We finally have some snow here in Tennessee!! A few times this year I heard on the news that snow was coming (a winter storm as they call it)...schools shut down the night before and everything. When I wake up in the morning, excited to glimpse out the window and see some of the pretty white flakes, there was nothing!! Today they actually got the forecast right, and we have snow that has actually accumulated on the ground! I decided to take Brooke out in it, in our backyard, after her nap. She didn't quite know what to make of it, she kept saying 'snow,' but when we came inside, she was excited to get her snowy boots and pants off, continually saying 'mess,' and 'clean.'

Happy New Year
Well it has certainly been awhile since I've posted any updates!! Things are going well here in the 'Boro', just patiently (trying to be patient, anyways) awaiting for Jeff to FINALLY be here for good... we have less than 30 days left, and we could not be more thrilled! Everything is going well with the this pregnancy, no pre-eclamsia this time (yeah!), but as of right now I am scheduled to be induced on February 23rd.
Jeff was in town last weekend for Martin Luther King Day...and Brooke was beyond excited. For once, she no longer needed 'Ma Ma' for everything! This time, she pushed me away and asked for her Daddy. She wanted him to take her out of her car seat, or walk upstairs with her, etc. It was a nice change for me =) Here is Brooke, below, on our way out the door to pick up Jeff from the airport...she is wearing a 'Daddy's sweet,' shirt just for him!
As many of you know, Brooke LOVES to say 'Football,' followed by 'Touchdown,' with her hands up in the air, just like the refs on TV. Brooke's new sport word is 'Hockey.' Here she is 'playing' xbox with Jeff in the morning.
While we haven't done much to the house, due to Jeff not being here (and lack of money), we did have Brooke's room painted. Some people have already seen these pictures, but I thought I would share, since I am really happy with the result. She also is sleeping in her big girl bed (not necessarily through the night), but certainly a good start, and definitely on the right track since Jade will be using the crib! So, Brooke's room will be the first room that is FULLY complete. Her curtain valances are ordered, and I have some decorations ordered as well. She has three windows in her room (the most windows in any room), so Jeff will have some work to do when he gets here =)
